The Years of Lyndon Johnson

In his series on Johnson, Caro has so far published four books:[1]

  1. The Path to Power
  2. Means of Ascent
  3. Master of the Senate
  4. The Passage of Power

Following the release of the first book in 1982, former Republican president Richard Nixon commented in an interview:[2] makes [Johnson] look like a godd*** animal... because he was.

Caro reportedly is currently working on a final volume of the series.[3][4][5][6]
