James David Vance (born in August 2, 1984; age 39) is an American conservative populist senator and Marine combat veteran from Ohio, who was nominated to be the vice president on Trump's ticket in the 2024 presidential election. Vance is the first Millennial to appear on a presidential ticket.

An outspoken tech entrepreneur who was the best-selling author of the “Hillbilly Elegy,” JD Vance announced his candidacy amid many skeptics on June 29, 2021.[1] On April 16, 2022, Trump endorsed Vance in his Senate primary race against many opponents, thereby rejecting the pro-Establishment, Mike Pence-endorsed candidate Josh Mandel.

Pro-Trump tech billionaire Peter Thiel has long been a supporter of J.D. Vance.

2024 Presidential election

On July 15, 2024, Trump selected JD Vance as VP / his running mate for the 2024 election.[2]

Vance was nominated two days after the Assassination attempt on President Trump. As Vice President, Vance is poised to becoming President Trump's ideological successor, due to President Trump being limited to one more term. The State of Ohio has produced more United States Presidents than any other state.

United States Senate

Vance was the Trump-endorsed underdog landslide winner of the U.S. Senate seat in Ohio, far exceeding early predictions and routing his Liz Cheney-endorsed opponent, Tim Ryan in November 2022.

Vance's enormous 7-point margin of victory as a political newcomer solidifies President Trump's popularity in the all-important Midwest, as Vance's opponent campaigned against Trump in the 2024 Presidential election.

2022 Primary

In May 2022, Vance, as Trump's backed candidate, wins GOP primary for Ohio Senate seat.[3][4][5] Matt Schlapp commented:[6] 'JD Vance's victory proves the old GOP has been transformed.' The Time: 'Trump's Fingerprints are all over J.D. Vance's Ohio win.'[7]

Ohio primaries proved the immense power of a Trump endorsement, and RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDanaiel's prediction rang true:[8]
RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Breitbart News that Ohio voters "reject Biden's failed agenda of historic inflation, Biden's gas hike, and the crisis at our southern border, and will hold Democrats accountable and vote for Republicans up and down the ballot."

Despite Vance's criticism of Trump way back in 2016, Trump graciously wrote:[9]

"Like some others, J.D. Vance may have said some not-so-great things about me in the past, but he gets it now, and I have seen that in spades."

A conservative populist capable of winning a general election, J.D. Vance is a leader among Republican candidates in speaking out against increased entanglement by Biden of the United States in the Russian Ukraine conflict.

Foreign affairs

Senator Vance has been the most courageous in opposing endless funding by the United States of the Russia-Ukraine war.[10]

Senator Vance explained why the Washington and Western establishment hate Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin so much - because Putin made Russia great again after the Communist Party of the Soviet Union for 70 years, and later the CIA in the 1990s, had brought Russia down so low.[11]

Despite his conservative position on Russia, Vance is a hawk on Israel, which brings his overall credentials into question.[12]

Ukraine aid

Tens of billions of dollars were transferred to Ukraine then laundered back to Democrats in advance of the 2022 Midterm elections.[13]

Sen. Vance said on the floor of the U.S. Senate on November 8, 2023: "Basic questions about Biden’s Ukraine policy, including Washington’s true strategic objective in the former Soviet republic, haven’t been addressed...Americans are commonly told that the aim is to force Russia out of all Ukrainian territory, including regions that have been annexed by Moscow following overwhelming votes for independence from Kiev...And yet, when you talk to the president’s own administration in private, they admit that is a strategic impossibility...No rational human being in the president’s administration believes that it is possible to throw the Russians out of every inch of Ukrainian territory...So, why is that the public justification offered by many advocates of indefinite, unlimited Ukrainian aid?...Because this debate is fundamentally dishonest...We are not telling the American people the truth because we know that if we did tell them the truth, they would not support an indefinite flow of money to Ukraine”.

In September 2023, speaking from the Newsweek division of the corporate war propaganda media combine, Vance demanded that the Biden regime reveal if American Transgender ‘Spokesperson’ for the Ukraine Military had US Intelligence community ties after they made threats to ‘hunt down’ Russian ‘propagandists’.[14] Newsweek is a Neo-Fascist Lite of sorts,[15] although it has not directly called for murdering dissidents. It agrees with the Ukro Nazis that speech critical of Ukraine is “Russian propaganda,” the sort of “disinformation” now being sanitized under laws enacted in the EU and the UK. The United States Government and corporate social media deplatform and demonetize domestic critics.

In a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, and Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines, Senator Vance raised concerns over the conduct of Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, who claims to act as a spokesperson for the Ukrainian military. Senator Vance also requested additional information from the Biden administration regarding this individual. Senator Vance’s letter reads, in part:

“In recent days, a video has circulated of an individual who claims to be an English-speaking spokesperson for the Ukrainian military. In the video, this individual, Sarah Ashton-Cirillo, looks directly into the camera and threatens physical violence to anyone who circulates ‘Russian propaganda.’
“A number of reports purport to offer additional information, much of it unconfirmed, regarding Ashton-Cirillo. I’ve seen claims this individual is an American, a former intelligence operative in the United States, and an employee of the Ukrainian government. Others have argued Ashton-Cirillo is pulling an elaborate prank …
“I worry American resources could be supporting violence or the threat of violence against people for speaking their mind. Notably, any critic of America’s incoherent policy in Ukraine has been slandered as propagandists, including multiple presidential candidates and American journalists. While we can debate the merits of these accusations, engaging in protected speech should not invite threats of violence—otherwise, the First Amendment means nothing.”[17]

Nazis, past and present, have long humiliated, attacked, tortured, and murdered political opponents. The problem with Ashton-Carillo is not his menacing threat. The Nazis not only want to kill men, women, and children in Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Crimea, and Russia, but also those who are opposed to United States Government and NATO efforts to collapse Russia and, in the process, start a nuclear war.[18]

The USG has long supported and funded Nazis. A declassified document from 1950 reveals the CIA worked to clandestinely exploit “these Ukrainian organizations” (the Ukrainian Supreme Council of Liberation and the Supreme Ukrainian Liberation Council).[19] Both were formed by the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, the latter known as the perpetrator of ethnic cleansing massacres in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia, primarily targeting women and children.

Polish authoritarianism

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk tried shaming the Republicans for attempting to block another tranche of aid for Ukraine in a tweet in Febryuary 2024. Tusk wrote: “Dear Republican Senators of America. Ronald Reagan, who helped millions of us to win back our freedom and independence, must be turning in his grave today. Shame on you.” Tusk's undiplomatic meddling in America’s domestic affairs wasn’t left unanswered, however, since Sen. Vance promptly put Tusk in his place. Vance responded on X as follows: “The new leader of Poland is arresting political opponents and owes his country’s security to the generosity of mine. He might consider showing some appreciation, or at least toning down his own authoritarian impulses.” Senator Vance had earlier slammed Tusk’s attacks on press freedom after his German-backed liberal-globalist regime seized control of public media on legally dubious pretexts that the conservative-nationalist opposition sharply condemned.[20]

Pro Israel (and its security) vs Ukraine

In May 2024, Vance used his Quincy Institute speech to differentiate his opposition to Ukraine aid from his steadfast commitment to Israel. “I’m supportive of Israel and their war against Hamas. I certainly admire the Ukrainians who are fighting against Russia, but I do not think that it is in America’s interest to continue to fund an effectively never-ending war in Ukraine,” Vance said. “It’s sort of weird that this town assumes that Israel and Ukraine are exactly the same. They’re not, of course, and I think it’s important to analyze them in separate buckets.”[21]

Vance blasted Biden’s “incoherent” handling of Israel-hamas war 2023/4. Reminding: that "Hamas started the war and now, they hide behind Palestinian civilians."[22] Vance criticized Biden's delay of weapons to Israel.

He criticized President Joe Biden for delaying offensive weapons transfers and potential sales to Israel while trying to avert a full-scale Rafah invasion earlier this month, and dug in during Thursday’s address on why the America First platform he aligns himself with requires a strong relationship with Israel. “If we’re going to support Israel, as I think that we should, we have to articulate a reason why it’s in our best interest,” Vance said. “Israel is one of the most dynamic, certainly on a per capita basis, one of the most dynamic and technologically advanced countries in the world,” Vance went on, citing work done on Israel’s end to “actually give us missile-defense parity. That’s a very important national security objective of the United States of America, and that’s something we’re working with one of the most innovative economies in the world to accomplish.” “We have to sort of ask ourselves, what do we want out of our Israeli allies? And more importantly, what do we want out of all of our allies writ large? Do we want clients who depend on us, who can’t do anything without us? Or do we want real allies who can actually advance their interests on their own with America playing a leadership role,” he continued. Vance added that one of the main reasons Americans support Israel is because the United States is a majority-Christian country, and “a majority of citizens of this country think that their Savior, and I count myself a Christian, was born and died and resurrected in that narrow little strip of territory on the Mediterranean.” He then slammed backers of the war in Iraq for “precipitat[ing] the genocide of one of the oldest Christian communities in the entire world.” The Ohio senator explained that emboldening Israel and allied Sunni Arab nations would serve as a “regional counterweight to Iran” and prevent a wider conflict from developing — thereby lessening the odds of a regional war that would necessitate greater American involvement. “The way that we get there in Israel is by combining the Abraham Accords approach with the defeat of Hamas. That gets us to a place where Israel and the Sunni nations can play a regional counterweight to Iran,” Vance said. “We don’t want a broader regional war. We don’t want to get involved in a broader regional war. The best way to do that is to ensure that Israel, with the Sunni nations, can actually police their own region of the world. That allows us to spend less time and resources on the Middle East and focus more on East Asia, in the same way that we want our own allies to do the job in Europe [with Ukraine].”

    Vance noted that while it’s “reasonable” for some people to argue that Hamas and Islamic radicalism can never be permanently defeated as an ideology, he said that the U.S. and Israel can still destroy each terror group “as a functioning military apparatus.”
