A snowbird is a person from the Midwest or northeastern United States, or even Canada who moves to warmer locales such as Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, elsewhere within the Sun Belt, Hawaii, Mexico, or areas of the Caribbean. Many "snowbirds" are elderly retirees, though their younger generations can also be deemed as such as they will sometimes move along with them. Many of them live in recreational vehicle or mobile home parks within their iterate state. Their most often reasons for moving to warmer regions is to avoid their native colder temperatures. A lot of snowbirds move back and forth from their native states to the warmer states. Some may even be college students who attend universities within the states or regions, or even vacationers.
