It is rumored that Jack the Ripper was a Freemason and to be entered into the order you have to believe in God or a higher power. If this is true there's no way he can be an atheist. Jrssr5 13:09, 13 March 2007 (EDT)

Lots of things are rumored about Jack the Ripper. They are almost all entirely baseless. (Though "From Hell" was a fantastic graphic novel!)--All Fish Welcome 10:48, 31 May 2007 (EDT)

The Casebook site I listed is a fantastic resource for Ripper information. Donald Runbelow's "Compete Jack the Ripper" is a fantastic start, for anyone interested in the Ripper. He did an excellent job of revisionism, in the best possible way, with the subject. He went back, as much as possible, to original source material. He also still gives Ripper tours in London. Added quote from Sugden on the number of victims, along with reference. Do not have book to hand, so will add page number to reference tonight. Boomcoach 11:21, 1 June 2007 (EDT)

Added a suspects section to the page, along with an entry on the various Royal Ripper theories. While debunked, they are also the most publicized theories of the last 30 years, and might as well be set straight for the casual reader. I will try to add more information on the more popular suspects, but lunch time only allows so many edits at a time! :) Boomcoach 12:54, 5 June 2007 (EDT)
