United States presidential election, 1892

When the election year of 1892 came about many people were usatisfied with Benjamin Harrison's over spending of government money. Former President Grover Cleveland was nominated by Democrats to run against Republican nominated, President Harrison. Many farmers, who had hit hard times under Cleveland and Harrison, started the People's party and nominated James B. Weaver as their candidate.[1] The election results showed:
