“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” — Alexis de Tocqueville

I identify as a Christian first, a conservative second, and a Republican third. I do have respect for many libertarian ideas and former Congressman Ron Paul, but I find the philosophy of libertarianism to be inadequate when dealing with social issues and foreign policy. My personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is the most important thing in my life, and I hold it above my membership at an independent fundamental church, though I do believe that communion with other believers is paramount in any person's walk with God. All life is sacred, which is why I oppose both abortion and the death penalty. Bible reading is quite important, and I have found that the King James Bible is the best (but not the only acceptable) English language Bible translation available even in the current age, and its mastery of the language and prose is general is incredible.

My edits on this site will deal primarily with politics, finance, and the creation of basic articles that may be linked to in numerous other articles but may not exist. Any criticism of my work is fair, and I will be more than glad to engage in dialogue about it and how to improve it.

Despite my better judgment, I do have a soft spot for campy b-movies and Taylor Swift music.
