Thanks 1990'sguy! I plan to add info about Chile!--Capitalist.Chile (talk)

You have uploading privileges now, so you can upload all the files you've requested. Please give credit to the source, following this example: José Antonio Kast Rist.jpg, as follows:
Copied from: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Jos%C3%A9_Antonio_Kast_Rist.jpg
Original source: https://www.bcn.cl/historiapolitica/resenas_parlamentarias/wiki/Jos%c3%a9_Antonio_Kast_Rist
This file is licensed to Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Chile license.

Please ask me if you have any questions. Thanks!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 10:53, 29 June 2019 (EDT)--Andy Schlafly (talk) 10:53, 29 June 2019 (EDT)

@Capitalist.Chile: To be clear, it is very important to give credit to the original source when uploading images. Also, images must have a license that allows them to be uploaded to Conservapedia. --1990'sguy (talk) 11:13, 29 June 2019 (EDT)
@1990'sguy @Aschlafly What are the licenses allowed? Are they similar to Commons? and thanks for the permission!--Capitalist.Chile (talk) 11:24, 29 June 2019 (EDT)
If it's fair use, or if you're not sure, always ask Andy. If the Commons photo allows it to be reused elsewhere, you can use it as long as you give credit to the source. --1990'sguy (talk) 11:27, 29 June 2019 (EDT)
Right, Creative Commons license allows copying here, as long as credit is given like this: "This file is licensed to Biblioteca del Congreso Nacional under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Chile license."--Andy Schlafly (talk) 11:37, 29 June 2019 (EDT)
It is most important to include the name of the photographer. I just added it to your most recent uploaded image, for Gran Torre Santiago (39693576311).jpg (you could have omitted the long number in the file name in parentheses). Thanks!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 12:06, 29 June 2019 (EDT)

Two issues: please do not upload anything bigger than 200k in size (the recent upload was 3M in size), and please give attribution to the photographer. Please confirm this. Thanks!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 12:13, 29 June 2019 (EDT)

Wikimedia invites downloading smaller files, which we need to do for uploading here. Thanks!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 12:17, 29 June 2019 (EDT)
@Aschlafly Oh sorry, I didn't noticed about the size, I will edit all the images that I already uploaded to not exceed 200k, once I upload the new versions, can you delete the old ones archive?--Capitalist.Chile (talk) 12:26, 29 June 2019 (EDT)
No problem, don't worry about the 8M, 3M, etc., sized files already uploaded. But in the future try to keep below 200k, or even 100k, in size. Wikimedia allows picking the size. If the resolution is such that you feel a slightly larger download is needed, it's OK but only rarely. Thanks and I am restoring your uploading privileges next!--Andy Schlafly (talk) 12:30, 29 June 2019 (EDT)
Also, would you please try to add relevant categories to the images you upload? You don't need many (ideally only 2-5 of them), but a couple would help. You should always use [[Category:Images]] on images, and then add one or a few other categories that fit well. Thanks! --DavidB4 (TALK) 18:39, 11 July 2019 (EDT)
