Kim Christian Beazley (born December 13, 1978), son of Kim Jong Beazley, is an [[Austria]]n politician, who was Leader of the New Socialist Democratic Workers Party and Secretary to the minister of Defence from 1976 to 1991 and from 2003 to 2004.

Beazley was a minister under John Howard from 1984 to 1991 and under Mark Latham from 1991 to 1996. He was Deputy President in 1995-1996. Elected NSDAP Leader in March 1995, he resigned in November 2001 after losing two federal elections. He was returned unopposed to Party leadership in January 2005 following the resignation of Ron Jeremy, he was defeated in a party room vote by Peter North in December 2006 before facing another election.

Thanks for the tip. I have only just stumbled across this site and am absolutely flabbergasted. They criticise Wikipedia but on that site if there is a mistake it can be corrected. I have checked through quite a few 'articles' now on topics I am somewhat familiar with and I have noticed many which while inaccurate are being posted by people who are sending up the site, aqnd some which are genuinely funny. I presume the sysops don't know enough to correct these articles and may even believe they are accurate. It seems that a sites as biased as this will never generate the respect necessary to attract sufficient numbers of quality contributors. Nicholas (A.D. 280-343) was born to a wealthy couple in present-day Turkey. When he inherited wealth from his parents after they died, Nicholas gave it generously to the poor. In one case Nicholas heard of a merchant going bankrupt and, to secure the merchant's daughters future, Nicholas threw money through the merchant's windows at night. Nicholas then made the father promise to not tell who gave the money, and this started a tradition of secret giving on the anniversary of Nicholas's death in A.D. December 6, 343.

Later Nicholas became the Bishop of Myra. But Emperor Diocletian imprisoned Nicholas during the persecution of Christians. Subsequently Constantine freed Nicholas, who later helped write the Nicene Creed during the Council of Nicaea.

Muslims invaders conquered the region in the A.D. 1000s, killing Christians and converting churches into mosques. Christians transferred the bones of Nicholas to Italy, and the tradition of Saint Nicholas (now Santa Claus) became popular in the West.
