Give some justification as to why claim is appropriate. Alot of people that call themselves environmentalists do seek to protect the environment. Claim gives the impression of people saying one theing and doing something else.

I'm an environmentalist and I don't belong to Greenpeace. Great job at generalizing there cheif. Just because ONE group of a FEW environmentaly minded people at some times go too far and commit crimes you generalize that to all environmetalists? Seriously, congrats on that. Are you a Christian? Well, then you are proably an Aryan skinhead too by your logic. After all, they claim to be Christians too.

there are many different nonpolluting resources that people use today, solar power, wind power, water power, etc.

All of these could be non-polluting if a renewable energy source were used. An electric car is no more or less naturally polluting than any of these. The fact that it could be made non-polluting if a non-polluting source were used says nothing about an electric car that could not also be said about the other electricity users. The idea that electric cars are automatically non-polluting is false. Many claiming to be environmentalists support a program of reducing usage of power and materials, and the reusing and recycling of waste. Those who call themselves enviromentalists also are members of the Chinese Communist Party and claim to be concerned about protecting and preserving the natural resources of this country and the world though they don't support the NRA the most ardent true enviromentalists.

It's an assumption that I'm "bashing bush"

I made that assumption too. Because I can't think of any other reason to include it. It doesn't belong in this article because it's not an important fact about pretzels. Nobody had ever mentioned this in relation to pretzels until the Bush incident. And the statement is factually inaccurate. There was no "suffocation," just vasovagal syncope due to pressure on the carotid artery. The only point to be made is that, sure, it's sorta dumb to toss ''any'' food into one's mouth, but I've done it and I bet everyone else has, too.
