Sean Patrick Hannity (born December 30, 1961) is a talk show host and television host of Fox News's show Hannity, as well as host of the former Hannity's America. He generally takes strong conservative stances, with a notable exception being the controversy regarding Todd Akin (see below). Liberals strongly oppose Hannity

True conservatives stood with principle and defended Akin's remarks, and his right to remain in the race.

Hannity showed himself to be a RINO backer through his actions.

In 2017, Hannity similarly damaged the Roy Moore U.S. Senate campaign in Alabama when he scolded the former state chief justice for failure to defend himself adequately in regard to allegations of sexual abuse that surfaced in the campaign. Moore then lost the race to the liberal Democrat Doug Jones, and the GOP Senate majority slipped from 52 to 51.

Early career
The youngest of four children, Hannity was born in New York City to Irish immigrants. He dropped out of college to embark on a radio career, and in 1988 was at a small-town station of WVNN in Huntsville, Alabama. He later broke into a Top 10 market in Atlanta, Georgia, at 640 AM WGST. His national recognition came as an occasional substitute host on the top rated The Rush Limbaugh Show. Allegedly on his first guest show, he dropped the golden EIB microphone because of a case of high nerves. The attention gained from substitute-hosting the show paved his way to national syndication.

Television
Sean Hannity was asked to join the newly formed Fox News Channel (FNC) in September 1996.
He accepted the offer and became co-host with liberal Alan Colmes of Hannity and Colmes, a prime-time one-hour debate-driven talk show focusing on the controversial issues and newsmakers of the day. January 9, 2009, was the final show of Hannity & Colmes, replaced the following week with Hannity's solo, self-titled show Hannity. Hannity and Colmes ranked among the leading cable TV news shows (just behind CNN's Larry King Live and FOX's O'Reilly Factor). Hannity also has a weekend show on Fox News, Hannity's America.

In September 2017, Hannity's show was moved to the 9 pm EDT time slot, putting him in direct competition with left-wing MSNBC host Rachel Maddow. In his first week in competition with her, Hannity received much higher ratings than her, despite her rise in ratings prior to that in 2017. After heated remarks by Hannity during the interview, he finally asked the priest, "Wait, would you deny me Communion?" To which Fr. Euteneuer responded, "I would."

Hannity has also received criticism for his involvement with the Freedom Alliance charity and the associated Freedom Concerts that he has hosted for the charity since 2003. The concerts are held to raise money to give to severely injured U.S. soldiers or as scholarships for the children of slain or injured soldiers. Through 2008, less than 20% of revenues raised by the Freedom Alliance have actually gone to these causes (and as low as 3.7% in 2006), according to IRS Form 990 tax data. This was widely reported by Debbie Schlussel, a conservative commentator and blogger, and Schlussel has also made corroborated accusations that hundreds of thousands of dollars were spent by the Freedom Alliance for each concert to accommodate Hannity and his friends and family. Hannity has been accused of taking advantage of the charitable nature of conservative, patriotic Americans.

In May 2017, Fox News published and then retracted a story about the murder of Seth Rich. Hannity did not retract anything he stated, noting the fact that liberals and Democrats themselves widely accepted and circulated conspiracy theories, most notably those regarding alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
In 2004 he published Deliver Us from Evil: Defeating Terrorism, Despotism, and Liberalism in which he "reveals how the disgraceful history of appeasement has reached forward from the days of Neville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter to corrupt the unrepentant leftists of the modern Democratic Party from Howard Dean and John Kerry to Bill and Hillary Clinton."

Radio
Hannity reaches approximately 12.5 million radio listeners each day, second only to Rush Limbaugh.

Prior to being governor and vice-president, Pence was one of the most conservative members of Congress, serving in the U.S. Representative from Indiana's 6th congressional district. In the 111th Congress, he served as Chairman of the House Republican Conference. Pence has also been a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Pence also has been a conservative talk radio host and an attorney.

Early life
Pence was born in Columbus, Indiana on June 7, 1959 to an Irish-Catholic family. He was one of six children, and his father was a U.S. Army veteran and gas station-chain owner.

Early in his life, Pence was strongly aligned with the Democratic Party and was a Roman Catholic. He volunteered for the party while in high school, and he voted for Jimmy Carter in 1980. When Pence was in college he became a born-again Christian through his future wife, Karen. After his conversion, his views shifted towards the right, and after the election of Ronald Reagan as president, Pence became a Republican as he was inspired by Reagan's policies.

Pence graduated from Hanover College in 1981 with a B.A. in history, and he earned a Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1986.

Early career
After graduation, Pence became a practicing attorney and started to get involved in politics, first "becoming a precinct committeeman for the Marion County Republican Party." He unsuccessfully ran for Congress in 1988 and 1990, but "learned a valuable lesson in defeat" and "vowed to preach a positive message" after becoming disgusted by his negative attack ads.

Pence served as the president of the Indiana Policy Review Foundation from 1991 to 1993. In 1994, he launched his own conservative talk radio show, and the next year he became a morning show host on television. Pence discontinued both programs in 1999, presumably in preparation for another run for Congress.

In October 2009 Pence defended conservative talk radio, saying:

<blockquote>
"To suggest that men and women that are taking a stand for fiscal discipline and traditional values in the national debate today only speak for ‘grassroots activists’ is absurd. As evidenced by the hundreds of thousands that filled town hall meetings this summer and the nearly a million Americans who gathered here in Washington in September. Millions of Americans, Republicans, Democrats and Independents are worried about liberal social policies and runaway federal spending, deficit and debt.

So to my friends in the so-called ‘mainstream media’ I say, ‘conservative talk show hosts may not speak for everybody but they speak for more Americans than you do.’"

In Congress, Pence built a very conservative record, even opposing liberal Republican bills that would increase spending or the size of government, such as No Child Left Behind in 2001, and the Medicare expansion of 2002.

He also engaged in a filibuster in an unusual way.

Governor of Indiana
Pence successfully ran for Indiana governor in 2012.

Pence's successor, the conservative Mitch Daniels, had been effective in boosting the state's economy, and Pence continued his policies. The Indiana economy continued to improve, and Pence cut taxes by $1.1 billion in 2013, which was the largest tax cut in state history. In addition, Indiana has the seventh lowest tax burden or any state in 2013, and in 2014 Pence signed a law that will decrease the state corporate tax by 1.6 percent by 2021. While liberals expect tax cuts to increase budget deficits, by 2016 Indiana actually had a $2 billion surplus, and unemployment dropped by 3.4 percent since his term began.

Pence became nationally famous in 2015 for initially defending a new religious freedom law for Indiana businesses that would have enabled them to decline services that support the homosexual agenda, such as in being forced to bake a cake for homosexual couples. Ultimately, Pence compromised under intense pressure from the liberal media and added protections for sexual orientation into Indiana law. While many conservatives considered Pence's move a betrayal, subsequent events showed that Pence did stand up more against the homosexual agenda than virtually any other governor, including other Republicans such as Greg Abbott and Chris Christie.

In addition, Pence is pro-life, and in 2016 he signed a bill into law that stops abortions when the unborn human being has a disability.
Thirdly, it seems that I'm recently the subject of attacks by the vandal, which would likely mean that I've made a large amount of contributions to be noticed like this. —LiberaltearsMay Dataclarifier be well! | Don't be an anti-Catholic zealot! Sunday, 01:22, 30 August 2020 (EDT)
It seems that the juvenile delinquent is back at it with the utter immaturity. No one's perfect, though it's bizarre that some choose to display their worst flaws in such a way.<br />—LiberaltearsMay D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Friday, 22:37, 17 September 2020 (EDT)
And the j.d. strikes again. Based off this diff (foul language warning) it appears that the vandal may be drunk or high on drugs, neither of which would be surprising. The troll couldn't even spell correctly, incorrectly typing "Al-Quaeda [sic]". In addition, the correctly terminology is "guerrilla warfare" and not "gorilla warfare". Furthermore, the first half of the nonsensical vandalism was entirely copy/pasted from the Urban Dictionary (profanity warning again), which is obvious plagiarism. The second half was a profane death threat, which likely signals that the revision ought to be hidden/deleted by an administrator/oversighter due to obviously being extremely inappropriate. —<code><span style="color:black; background:#FFABAB">LT</span></code>May D.C., his mother, and I.S. be all well! Saturday, 01:30, 17 October 2020 (EDT)
This page is also a monument to the fact that I, Liberaltears, am a gigantic fucking retard who needs the answer key.
