From what I understand, the announcement took place yesterday morning. By last night, there weren't a whole lot of decent, non-hostile sources solely dedicated to the accouncment from which to draw from for what I added. The phrase "she dared use her First Amendment rights" incorrectly uses the term First Amendment rights, which apply only against a governmental entity, and the Miss USA Pageant is not such an entity. No constitutional rights were implicated.

Yeah, try to use these arguments against the use of the phrase when it comes to Perez Hilton's comments. Had someone not in the government done to him what he and others did to Miss Prejean, no one would be caterwauling "It's not a First Amendment issue!!!" The article should continue it's coverage of the liberal media assault on Prejean with details about the alleged "sex tape" which TMZ claims to have but conveniently has not released. The liberal media even dares to claim this so-called sex tape is "very graphic", not realizing that people like Prejean who beleive in family values don't make sex tapes, and that the claim is over-welmingly unconvincing.
