Operation Rescue really should fire her. She is an embarassment - I don't question her media ability, but when liberals accuse pro-lifers of being violent, it really doesn't help that one of our most active organisations actually employs a convicted terrorist. I also note that her 'renouncing violence' did not keep her from posting on Operation Rescue's website a list not only of every abortionist in the state, but their addresses, and photographs of them ''and their families'' - effectively declaring "I do not condone violence, but here is a list of targets - if you can't kill them, attack their families and intimidate them that way." Cheryl is such an extremist she is not only an embarassment, but a threat to credability. She is only of value when addrssing people who know nothing of her sordid past. Why did someone revert my edit calling Sullenger what she is, a terrorist? She was convicted in a court of law and served time, this is not a point that is in dispute. Why is it vandalism to call terrorism terrorism? Also, how many 'vandals' take the time to correct spelling mistakes?

Pro-life activists do not bomb buildings. Calling her a pro-life activist puts her in the same group with many peaceful, God-fearing activists who want to save the lives of babies. :if you please, show me the court transcripts, and not opinionated websites, which show the prosecuter and judge used those words. If they are there, then I will allow it. But I am going to point out that this is a clear case of the pot calling the kettle black, and there's no one more innocent than an unborn child. So if you're going to refer to Sullenger as a terrorist, than I expect the same label to be applied to every abortion performer and supporter in the country. Shouldn't it be clarified that in Iran, the president isn't actually the leader? Policy is actually set by the Supreme Leader, who is the true ruler of the country. That's just a content comment; clearly, the style of this entry was unprofessional and not appropriate for a encyclopedia.

Is this the same president who got an award for brokering a deal with North Korea which they went on to break secretly? It had something to do with crediting him for ensuring that NK would '''not''' do something with nukes that would endanger the world, i.e., he got credit for preventing them. I didn't know about this one. Can anyone else verify this? It has the ring of truth, and I've always considered Carter the worst US president of the 20th century - especially on [[human rights]], but this is not a blog. This is an encyclopedia, and everything must be verifiable and trustworthy. My impression is that Jimmy Carter was and is a conservative. His vilification was due to "Reagan conservatives" justifying Reagan's presidency. Reagan was actually a radical who tried, and in many ways succeeded, in turning back the clock. Carter supported the Vietnam War and is a religious man. His support of the ERA was tepid at best.

I have to take issue with the first line, "He is not only regarded by most Americans across the political spectrum as being the worst president of the 20th century, but he is also considered by many conservatives to be among the worst presidents in the entirety of American history."

That has the ring of the mealy-mouthed 'Some people say..." that is so common among journalists. It's just a vague impression that is not in any way quantified.

Is there a source for this information? Is there a recent survey of people saying who the worst president of the 20th century is? As it is, there's no foundation to this statement.
