I'm not sure what defines a "liberal" song, or how those songs can be placed into a political category. I won't deny that some of them are sub par, but that doesn't make it liberal, now, does it?brenden 18:14, 3 June 2012 (EDT)
Is this 'worst' as in lowest quality, or worst as in most liberal. I know some songs that are (in my opinion) very good, but are also very liberal, would they qualify?Cmurphynz 02:15, 17 July 2012 (EDT)
:This was my point in creating the page "Essay: Best Liberal Songs", which was taken as a parody or trolling. (Perhaps this wasn't the best way to make the point.) There are many songs with liberal content--the two I put in my list, much by Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Earle and others--that many conservatives must agree are good in musical quality even if their themes are discordant. Most of the songs in this list are pretty much only polemic, with no real musical value. CasparRH 07:56, 17 July 2012 (EDT)
Why do you have add the Harlem Shake? I dont know what is so liberal on this song.--JoeyJ 11:08, 6 June 2013 (EDT)
:Only in today's decadent western liberal culture can such a song become a huge internet meme. It represents everything wrong with today's world. - Markman 11:12, 6 June 2013 (EDT)
Is the only reason Back in the USSR is up here is because it is a parody of conservative songs? How does that automatically make it liberal? Plus if you actually listen to the lyrics it doesn't endorse the USSR or communism. -Ted D
I am not sure, wether "Party Rock Anthem" is a Liberal song.--JoeyJ 13:16, 6 June 2014 (EDT)
I don't think Dopeman belongs on here, sure it's profane, but it doesn't promote drug use. If anything the song is anti-drug as you're supposed to hate the "dopeman". It also attempts to communicate how drugs have negatively impacted poor communities. -spec 02:54 29 August 2021 (CST)
