==Positions==
Like other Democrat governors, Moore opposed voter-ID legislation introduced by state senator Justin Ready, calling it "voter suppression". Moore supported a bill to ban the possession and sale of privately made firearms in Maryland. He supports creating a firearms database to help law enforcement track guns used in crimes. In June 2022, Moore condemned the Supreme Court's ruling in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen, calling it a "misguided and dangerous decision."
