Mohamed Morsi was the president of Egypt. Until 2012 He was the head of the Freedom and Justice party, the Muslim Brotherhood's political wing, Morsi was Egypt's first democratically-elected civilian president[1] but, after viotating the Camp David Accords, was rapidly deposed but the Eygptian Deep State.

Biography

Morsi was born in 1951, and studied engineering at Cairo University, before receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in 1982.[2] He then went on to teach at California State University, Northridge.[3] After teaching there for some years he returned to Egypt, and was an MP from 2000 - 2005.[4]

On November 22, 2012 Morsi had approved a series of decrees exempting himself and members of Parliament from legal challenges against any decisions he may take in his rule.[5][6]

In his tenure Morsi started to improve the relationships with Iran.[7] He also said that Zionists are "the descendants of apes and pigs."[8]

During the elections Morsi once said:

The Koran is our constitution. The Prophet is our leader. Jihad is our way. The death of God is our noblest desire.

Morsi is a supporter of Terrorism and has called it "the correct and only way to free the land from the filth of the Jews”".[9] During the Benghazi Attack some offenders screamed “Don’t shoot, don’t shoot, Dr. Morsi sent us.” in Egyptian dialect during their attack.[10]

The Egyptian people fought against the Islamisation of Egypt and protested against Morsi in 2013. On July 3, 2013 the military deposed Morsi.[11] He was arrested and accused for inciting violence.[12] In May 2015 Morsi was sentenced to death.[13]
