Linda T. Sanchez (born January 28, 1969, in Orange, California) currently serves as a Democratic United States Representative from California's 38th congressional district, covering southeastern Los Angeles County.
Elected in 2002 to represent the 39th district of California, Sanchez serves as a member of several House committees: the Ethics Committee, the Judiciary Committee and the Veterans' Affairs Committee. She also belongs to the Congressional Progressive Caucus.[1]
Rep. Sanchez is the sister of United States Representative Loretta Sanchez.
