I was wondering the same thing, Ed. Perhaps you're recalling the scene where the older brother's friends help E.T and E.T. escape from the govt agents/scientists, and they all go flying through the air on their bikes? The other kids were friends, not bullies--the only "bad guys" in the flick were the govt guys. You know, this may be the perfect conservative movie: The "little guys" have to fight for their life and liberty against a government that is trying to "help", but only making things worse.  :)
