Proposal for moving to United States Dollar
Other countries use the name "dollar" for their local monetary unit. This article should be moved to reflect its specific focus on the United States Dollar. --Draper 20:06, 6 July 2007 (EDT)
- Done (although not to the name you suggested) and thanks for the suggestion. Philip J. Rayment 03:58, 7 July 2007 (EDT)
Citation is Wrong
The citation used as a reference for the Masonic imagery on the dollar bill contains at least two flat-out inaccuracies (or lies, if the writer knew they were inaccurate). First, it claims that the Latin phrase "Annuit Coeptis" means "Announcing the Birth Of," which it does NOT. It means "He (God) has approved our undertaking."
Also, it states that "Novus Ordo Seclorum" means "New World Order". It does NOT. "New World Order" would be "Novus Ordo Mundi". "Novus Ordo Seclorum" means "New Order for the Ages"
I suggest that the source and the information it is used to reference be removed, unless a more accurate source can be found to provide said information.--Porthos 09:32, 30 July 2007 (EDT)
