Dr. Dan Benishek (born 1952-2021) is the Republican U.S. Representative from Michigan's 1st congressional district vacated by liberal Bart Stupak. Benishek was born in Iron River, Michigan and general surgery is his profession. He advocates the 4 Rs; Read the bills, Reduce the deficit, Repeal ObamaCare, Reform how D.C. works.
