Dr. Dan Benishek (born 1952-2021) is the Republican U.S. Representative from Michigan's 1st congressional district vacated by liberal Bart Stupak. Benishek was born in Iron River, Michigan and general surgery is his profession. He advocates the 4 Rs; Read the bills, Reduce the deficit, Repeal ObamaCare, Reform how D.C. works. His number one issue is to create jobs. Notable endorsements include American Conservative Union, FreedomWorks, Eagle Forum, Mark Levin and many others. Benishek has signed the following pledges; U.S. Term Limits Pledge, Obamacare Repeal Pledge, No Lame Duck, No Climate Tax, Contract From America and Repeal It! Pledge (Club for Growth).
