That's nice, but no one says it correlates with hydrocarbon use. The factor to look at is the level of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Robinson attacks a straw man.--Frey 16:12, 23 May 2008 (EDT)

Okay, that's your writing assignment. Please find scientific information which correlates air temperature with carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. And since correlation is not causation, don't forget to find out whether GG's drive CO2 or the other way 'round. --Ed Poor Talk 22:39, 26 May 2008 (EDT)
Well, the following is a bit off the cuff (partly because I don't want to get into a shoving match), but I can tell you that CO2 is a greenhouse gas, it accounts for 10-26% of Earth's greenhouse effect, and there's no other serious suspect for the warming of the last thirty years.--Frey 16:01, 31 May 2008 (EDT)
