- Seems a bit off-the-wall, though it is admittedly creative. Liberals don't even know the Bible enough to realize what you mean. Maybe others have comments here about this.--Aschlafly 12:14, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
How could anyone confuse McCain, a decorated war hero and Presidential candidate, with Cain, a historical murderer? That sounds truly bizarre!
Aschlafly, I don't care what liberals think; this is a conservative blog and it should stay that way. All conservatives know who Cain and Abel were. --Rp6 16:59, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
- Real it in a little bit there; no need to get so worked up. I didn't say I couldn't tell the two apart, I just initially thought "Cain" was short for McCain, and it confused me at first. I've just been reading a lot more about McCain than Cain recently, can you blame me? HelpJazz 17:03, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
- I guess you were okay to be confused. But no, it has nothing to do with McCain. --Rp6 17:06, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
What in the world is this? I thought we were trying to build an encyclopedia here! --Ampersand 20:43, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
Comedy thought: you could call them "NovoCain's" too. BenHur 23:38, 8 September 2008 (EDT)
Cain was a vegetarian
Cain was indeed a vegetarian. According to Genesis, Noah was the first human who God allowed to eat meat, after the flood. He was also the first to drink alcohol.--CPalmer 11:48, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- So then I guess Abel was, too - seems worthy of mention, no? BobbyW 12:03, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
Abel was a shepherd. Cain was a tiller of the earth. Read your Bible, and then we can have this discussion. --Rp6 12:04, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- And they were both, like everyone before Noah, vegetarians. BobbyW 12:05, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
- I seem to recall everyone being a vegetarian before the fall, though my memory's a tad shady on that. I don't know if there's any specific reference to either of them being vegetarian or not.
- It's a shady analogy at best, guys. Certainly nothing worth edit-warring over. :-) Jeffrey W. LauttamusDiscussion 12:08, 9 September 2008 (EDT)
