Ingrid Newkirk is the co-founder and president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. She is also a strong supporter of the terrorist Animal Liberation Front. [1]

Newkirk's Will

Upon her death, Newkirk wishes that her body be donated to PETA for activist purposes. More specifically, she wants her "meat" to be barbecued, her skin to be made into leather products, and her feet turned into umbrella stands. She also wants one of her eyes to be given to the administrator of the EPA, her pointing finger to be given to Kenneth Feld (the owner of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus), and an ear to be given to the Canadian Parliament.[2]

Controversial Statements

“Even if animal tests produced a cure for AIDS, we’d be against it.”[3]

“In the end, I think it would be lovely if we stopped this whole notion of pets altogether.”[3]

Humans have grown like a cancer. We're the biggest blight on the face of the earth.”[3]

“I will be the last person to condemn ALF [the Animal Liberation Front].”[3]

“I wish we all would get up and go into the labs and take the animals out or burn them down.”[3]
