Template:Stub Seelowe in German means Sealion and was the code name for the German invasion of Britian in 1940-1941. The key to winning the Isle of Britian was a mass assult of bombings and other attacks by the Luftwaffe. The assult failed and the Luftwaffe was heavyly diminshed by the RAF. The RAF made a heroic stand that ultimately saved Britian and possibly the United States from German attack.
