Owl city is a electronica music project created by Adam Young. His triple hit, Fireflies, gained him popularity within the mainstream media. His songs, have a somewhat vague, but distinctly christian leaning, especially in the song Galaxies. Unlike other artists, of the same genre, like Gary Jules, Owl city focuses on more real themes.[1] In 2011, his third album, all things bright and beautiful, was released. His first major song, fireflies, became the 20th most downloaded, and the 13th most pirated song within the United Kingdom, and Canada.
  1. Mad world is distinctly nihilistic, but fireflies, reminds you of god's glory
