118th United States Congress
The 118th Congress of the United States opened on January 3, 2023.
When asked, “How much do you trust that America’s elections are fair and accurate?” only 43.2% of respondents said they “strongly trust” the election system...A majority, 56.8%, expressed concerns about the system, with 17% saying they “somewhat trust” it, 17.9% saying they “somewhat distrust” it, and 21.9% saying they “strongly distrust it””[2] “The rise of woke politics has undermined public confidence in the brass...The Reagan Institute releases an annual survey of public attitudes on national defense, and this year only 48% reported having “a great deal of confidence” in the U.S. military...That's down from 70% in 2018”[3] and “A study titled "Trend in Loaded Handgun Carrying Among Adult Handgun Owners in the United States, 2015‒2019" found the number of law-abiding US adults carrying handguns nearly doubled from 9 million in 2015 to 16 million in 2019”[4]

Rep. Kevin McCarthy of California won the Speakership on the 15th round of voting on January 7, 2023. He was replaced by Mike Johnson of Louisiana on October 25, 2023.
Democrats
Corrupt racist anti-Semitic[5] extremist and election denier Hakeem Jeffries was elected Democrat minority leader in the 118th Congress.[6] According to The Washington Post, Jeffries is a threat to democracy.[7] Reps. Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell were booted off the House Intelligence Committee for lying and breaches of national security; Rep. Ilhan Omar was booted off the Foreign Affairs Committee for her anti-Semitic views.

Jim Jordan (OH) was appointed chair of the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, along with Republicans Darrell Issa (CA), Thomas Massie (KY), Chris Stewart (UT), Elise Stefanik (NY), Mike Johnson (LA), Chip Roy (TX), Kelly Armstrong (ND), Greg Steube (FL), Dan Bishop (NC), Kat Cammack (FL) and Harriet Hageman (WY). Democrat Ranking Member Stacey Plaskett, who represents the Virgin Islands, is a recipient of campaign donations for over a decade from criminally convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, held numerous face-to-face encounters with him, and worked for a law firm employed by Epstein.[8]
On February 9, 2023, former Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard testified about FBI and Big Tech harassment she received during her campaign.[9]
War on Parents
- See also: War on parents
The 'Biden/ Harris War on Parents became evident in October 2021 when chief procurator Merrick Garland of the Biden/Harris regime issued a memo directing the FBI and numerous other federal and state agencies to take “measures designed to address the rise in criminal conduct directed toward school personnel. The memo was a response just days after the National School Board Association (NSBA) wrote to socialist leader Joe Biden complaining about parents speaking out at school board meetings. The NSBA letter stated that parents’ protests and speeches at school board meetings “could be equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism.” The Garland memo's intent is to intimidate parents to not speak out at school board meetings against critical race theory. The War on Parents is a clear example of the politicization of the Department of Justice.
Biden impeachment
The Biden impeachment inquiry into bribery, corruption, and influence peddling was launched on September 28, 2023.[10] Committee chair of the House Oversight Committee Rep. James Comer of Kentucky presided over the inquiry. Bank records for Hunter Biden, premier Joe Biden's son, and James Biden, Joe's brother, whom money was suspected of being laundered from foreign interests for the Biden crime family over a period of many years, were subpoenaed.
Appearing at the first hearing were Prof. Jonathan Turley of George Washington University Law School, Former Assistant Attorney General Eileen O’Connor in the DOJ Tax Division, Bruce Dubinsky of Dubinsky Consulting, and Michael J. Gerhardt for the Democrats.
Opening the enquiry, Speaker Kevin McCarthy, stating, recently House investigations "paint a picture of corruption" by Biden and his family.[11]
Of the first steps the Bidens tried to take to derail justice was to send a letter out to the media with instruction.[12]
Ukraine aid/FTX scandal

The FTX scandal broke in the days immediately prior to, and following the November 8, 2022 Midterm elections. Tens of billions of dollars in American Military Aid to Ukraine, which was allegedly to be used to fight Russia, was cash that Ukraine did not use to fight Russia, but instead invested into FTX cryptocurrency exchange. Ukraine received money from the United States, Ukraine "invested" the money with FTX, and FTX "donated" the money back to Democrats, who originally voted to send the money to Ukraine. The sham appears to be pure criminal money-laundering and criminal conspiracy to violate campaign finance laws.[13]
The CEO of FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried, was the #2 donor to the Democrats in the 2020 presidential election giving $39.8 million, second only to George Soros, and said he intended to spend up to $1 billion in the 2024 presidential election.[14] See Billionaire megadonors.
He reportedly also donated to the GOP.[15] He claims, it was the same amount given to Dems.[16] but didn't publicize it because reporters would ‘freak the ---- out.’
Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina told Breitbart News in February 2023 that Speaker McCarthy set the “gears in place” for conservatives on the House Rules Committee to strip Ukraine aid from the debt limit and continuing resolutions.[17]
