ANZAC Day is a remembrance day in Australia, New Zealand and a few other Pacific Island countries. The day honours the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corp at Gallipoli in Turkey in World War I. It is held on 25 April each year with dawn services being held and is a public holiday.[1]
