Abbie Hoffman was a political activist and writer who founded the Youth International Party (Yippies) [1]. He was one of the key figures in the Chicago Seven Trial.
The coronor ruled Hoffman's death at the age of 63 in 1989 a suicide caused by a lethal combination of alchohol and prescription medications.
