Abbie Hoffman was a political activist and writer who founded the Youth International Party (Yippies) [1]. He was one of the key figures in the Chicago Seven Trial.

He was known for outrageous protests-one of the most famous being the throwing of Money in front of the New York Stock Exchange to expose corporate greed. Hoffman was arrested for mutilating the United States flag, one of his many crimes, as the FBI had a 4101 page file on him and his activities.
