Abbie Hoffman was a political activist and writer who founded the Youth International Party (Yippies). He was one of the key figures in the Chicago Seven Trial.
The coronor ruled Hoffman's death at the age of 63 in 1989 a suicide caused by a lethal combination of alchohol and prescription medications
