Abbot and Costello (William Alexander Abbott, 1897-1974; Louis Francis Cristillo, 1906-1959), an American comedy team who worked in radio, film, and television throughout the 1930s through the late-1950s. Successful in perfecting the "straightman/foil" relationship, their routines culminated in their best-known work, a baseball skit titled Who's on First?.

In 2009, the duo were voted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame under the "Arts & Entertainment" category. [1]
