Abortion in China has long been mandatory when a family exceeds the "quota" of just one or two children, and Chinese women have even been granted asylum by American courts for fear of being subjected to abortions upon their return.

Rev. Patrick Mahoney observed:[1]

China promotes the barbaric practice of forced abortion and sterilization and crushes all those who disagree with their policies.

Until 2013 the One-child Policy was praciticed in China. It was forbidden to have more than one children. Since November 2013 parents are allowed to have two children.[2]
