Adult Swim is late night programming featuring a myriad of adult cartoons. Some of the more prominent featured shows include Robot Chicken, Rick and Morty and Family Guy. Time Warner, Inc. (through its subsidiary Turner Broadcasting) owns Adult Swim.

It runs after 10:30 PM Monday-Thursday, after 11 PM Saturday, and after 10 PM Sunday on the Cartoon Network. The shows vary in ratings, from TV-PG to TV-MA. Adult Swim began airing September 2, 2001, and in March 2005 was split from Cartoon Network completely for ratings reasons.[1]

Adult Swim has continuously been the highest rated programming for young adults and men.[2]
