Agatha Christie (1890-1976), was a best-selling English mystery writer. Christie was educated at home by her mother, who encouraged her to write from a very early age. At sixteen she was sent to finishing school in Paris.[1]
Agatha Christie's play, The Mousetrap, is the longest-running play of all time, opening in London's West End on 25 November 1952, celebrating its 20,000th performance in December 2000,[2] and still running as of 2007.[3]
