America Transformed: The Rise and Legacy of American Progressivism is a book written by Hillsdale College professor of political science Ronald J. Pestritto. Published in 2021, Pestritto examines the Progressive Era of the United States and examines how Progressivism came to be a significant force in American politics.
Pestritto focuses primarily on the presidency of Woodrow Wilson, while also bringing into focus the presidency of Theodore Roosevelt and the additional influence of the Social Gospel and thinkers like Frank Johnson Goodnow, Richard T. Ely, and Herbert Croly.
