George Santayana once said, "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it." Another wise quote was made by David C. McCullough when he said, "History is a guide to navigation in perilous times. History is who we are and why we are the way we are." History truly does mold us into who we are and will be. If you repeat what was done right in history, then it will most likely be right again.
2. Yes, the United States was correct to enter WWII. Obviously, Germany was abusing other countries, Britain in particular, and if we had not entered the war when we did, then they would eventually have attacked us.
