Anne Davies is Donor Services Associate at The Dallas Foundation. Prior to joining The Dallas Foundation, she worked as the Development Officer for Ronald McDonald House of Austin and Central Texas. She currently serves on Ronald McDonald House’s Young Friends Board.[1]

She served as Event Director for Bush/Cheney Florida Victory 2004, was Director of Special Projects for Kay Bailey Hutchinson’s re-election in 2006, worked as Campaign Scheduler for Senator Johnny Isakson and was an Intern on George W. Bush’s presidential campaign in 2000.[2]

Based in Washington, DC, Media Matters is run by David Brock, who recently “declared war” on Fox News.[3] The foundation has contributed $250,000 to Media Matters in recent years.[4]
The Dallas Foundation is the oldest community foundation in Texas. It’s most recent IRS filing says it “grants to charitable causes, mostly in Dallas County, intended to improve the quality of life in the areas of arts, education, health, social services, and community projects.” Why they’ve chosen to donate to radical left-wing organizations like Media Matters, who obviously provide none of the aforementioned services, raises questions about the stated mission of the foundation.
