Anne Davies

Anne Davies (full name and date of birth unavailable; possibly 1979) is the chief development officer of the non-profit organization Texas 2036. He was from 2009 to 2011 the donor services associate at the Dallas Foundation in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining The Dallas Foundation, she worked as the Development Officer for Ronald McDonald House of Austin and Central Texas. She serves on Ronald McDonald House's Young Friends Board.[1]

Like The Dallas Foundation's President Mary M. Jalonick, Davies has been active in Republican politics. She served as event director for George W. Bush and Dick Cheney Florida Victory 2004, was special projects director for former U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison’s re-election in 2006, worked as campaign scheduler for the late Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia and was an intern on the Bush presidential campaign in 2000. From 2017 to 2019, she was the senior vice president and chief development officer for the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.[2]

The Dallas Foundation is major contributor to George Soros-backed leftist media attack group Media Matters for America. Based in Washington, DC, Media Matters is run by David Brock, who recently “declared war” on Fox News.[3] The foundation has contributed $250,000 to Media Matters in recent years.[4]

The Dallas Foundation is the oldest community foundation in Texas. It's most recent IRS filing says it “grants to charitable causes, mostly in Dallas County, intended to improve the quality of life in the areas of arts, education, health, social services, and community projects.” Why they've chosen to donate to radical left-wing organizations like Media Matters, who obviously provide none of the aforementioned services, raises questions about the stated mission of the foundation.
