Anti-communism left was a movement in the 1960s, of liberals and socialists who were against the rise of the Soviet Union and left-wing totalitarianism. Best known anti-communism leftists include Henry Jackson, Daniel Patrick Moynihan, Jeane Kirkpatrick, George Orwell, Lionel Trilling and Diana Trilling.
