Antilife, a term originating in 1929, refers to those who are hostile to the preservation or nurturing of life. It includes those who are pro-abortion and pro-euthanasia, but also includes people who oppose the use of potentially life-saving, or life-enhancing, medical treatments.

Many of the proponents of the forced death of Terri Schiavo by dehydration typified antilife sentiments.
