Antonio Villaraigosa (born January 23, 1953) is the Democrat mayor of Los Angeles. He was elected in a landslide, promising to reshape a city struggling with traffic congestion, dead-end schools and high-priced housing.[1]
In July 2007 it was revealed that Villaraigosa was having an extramarital affair with a local TV newscaster who covered city hall.[2] Villaraigosa, who is married and has four children, said "I made a mistake, I'm not perfect." Ironically, this is the very reporter who reported the news of his wife filing for divorce.
