National Security Advisor

The Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, known as the National Security Advisor, is a senior official who serves as the chief adviser to the President of the United States on national security issues. The National Scurity Advisor participates in the meetings of the National Security Council and heads up the White House NSC staff.[1]
