BMW or the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG (in English the Bavarian Motor Works) is a German manufacturing company making automobiles and motorbikes.
BMW makes and exports from Europe and China high end cars and sport utility vehicles to North America and around the world, as well as cars under the Mini and Rolls-Royce name plates. In Europe their vehicles are considered a domestic line and have reached high levels of popularity. They are also involved in Formula1 racing.
