The Barna Group is a theologically conservative Christian polling organization founded by George Barna. It was set up to ask questions that would interest the Christian community by showing beliefs or trends within the United States. Most polls monitor the general population and also show the results as recorded by Christians or born-again Christians. The results are often a mixed bag showing shortcomings between Christian theological teachings and actual views or behaviors among its claimed adherents.
