Joseph Robinette "Beau" Biden III (February 3, 1969 – May 30, 2015) was an American politician, soldier, and lawyer from Wilmington, Delaware. He served as the Attorney General of Delaware and a Captain in the Delaware Army National Guard. He was a member of the Democrat Party and was the son of Vice President Joe Biden.
