Bering Sea

The Bering Sea, named after Vitus Bering, is in the northern Pacific Ocean, located between Alaska and Russia. The Bering Sea is bounded by the Aleutian Islands to its south; its northern end is at the Bering Strait. The International Date Line passes through the Bering Sea.[1]
