Boaz

Boaz is mentioned in the book of Ruth. He was a kind older man and a relative of Naomi who looked after Ruth and her mother, and eventually married Ruth fulfilling his role as kinsman redeemer. Their son was named Obed who went on to father Jesse who then fathered King David. He is also mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus.
