Bridge

A bridge is a structure that allows passage over a otherwise impassible place. They may be constructed of steel, wood, or other materials heavy enough to support loads.

Metaphorically, a "bridge" spans the distance between two topics that might not otherwise be connected.

Examples of famous bridges include the Golden Gate Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge.
