Britain First are a British nationalist political organisation.
History
In November 2017, Donald Trump retweeted a video of theirs exposing anti-Christian Islamic extremism.[1] Trump was condemned for doing this by liberal conservative PM Theresa May.[1]
Ideology
The organisation has been smeared by mainstream media as far-right and fascist. This is blatantly untrue; the party oppose authoritarianism and is committed to upholding democracy.
Britain First identify as "movement of patriotism, nationalism, conservatism and traditionalism", and reject labels of "right wing" and "left wing".[2]
