Brittney Yevette Griner (born October 18, 1990) is an American basketball player and cannabis smuggler. Griner known after her arresting in Russia for Marijuana smuggling. Russian authorities sentenced her nine years in prison.[1] Brittney Griner known for her hatred against America and kneeling on US flag and anthem during 2020 BLM riots. In 4 July 2020, she said: I honestly feel we should not play the national anthem during our season. I think we should take that much of a stand.” Even if the league decided to play the anthem, Griner said she was going to stand with others against the country anyway.[2] Some sarcastic critics wrote that Griner Won’t Have to Endure Our National Anthem for 9 Whole Years’.[3]
