Catherine J. Sambark (1899-1975) was an American educator, journalist, and women's rights advocate. She petitioned for women's sufferage as a teenager, and later went on to be strong supporter of civil rights. She was arrested several times, most notably at the march on Selma, Alabama. Sambark died of cancer at her home in Missouri, just before her 76th birthday.
